The Cancer Council Relay for Life at UWA is a Guild Volunteering run event. In it's inaugural year in 2010 Relay@UWA raised over $100,000 for The Cancer Council and we hope to go above and beyond that this year. The event will be held on the 15th and 16th of October. We require as many teams and event volunteers as possible; including cancer survivors and carers for this celebratory and fundraising event. Members of staff, students and community are welcome, but please note that places are limited.

The UWA Student Exchange program offers you an opportunity to study at one of over 108 partner Universities in 22 countries. Study for one or two semesters and receive credit towards your UWA degree at the same time!

With a successful international track record, Robert has had extensive banking experience across the Asia-Pacific and Europe. This seminar is a great opportunity for students to gain an insight into the international opportunities available in finance.

Prior... to joining ANZ Institutional Banking in Australia, Robert’s career boasts over 18 years investment banking experience in M&A, Privatisations, Project Finance, Acquisition Finance and Debt Recovery in a broad range of infrastructure sectors. From 1999 – 2008, Robert worked at HSBC in Hong Kong and Japan as Managing Director. He has also held the position of Director at Barclays Capital based in London and Hong Kong in 1991 – 1998.

Robert holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Italy and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.

Winthrop Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Visual Arts, Simon Anderson invites interested members of the public to view an exhibition of architecture and landscape architecture students’ work from second semester this year. The display is a result of the studio projects undertaken by students enrolled in all years from first year to fifth year (including honours students). Works include drawings, plans, models and digital projections.
