SYMPOSIUM: UWA Music presents Smalley At Large Festival Symposium

Marking the 80th and 100th anniversary of Roger Smalley AM and György Ligeti respectively, this 2-day symposium features key-note addresses by Professor Amy Bauer (USA) and Dr Chris Mark (UK) as Institute of Advanced Studies Visiting Scholars.
Other speakers include: Dr Adam Pinto (UWA), Dr Paul Tanner (UWA), Dr Stuart James (WAAPA), Dr Federico Favali (italy) with more speakers announced soon!

Symposium Registrations include a seat at the SMALLEY AT LARGE FESTIVAL CONCERT, where the UWA Symphony Orchestra and soloist Adam Pinto give a rare performance of Roger Smalley’s Second Piano Concerto, followed by a selection of works by Ligeti and Smalley, performed UWA students and staff.
