The UWA Library is hosting a lunchtime lecture by Holly Swenson, PhD Candidate at Northwestern University and the inaugural recipient of the Dorothy W. Collin Fellowship in the History of the Book, titled "Cultural Commerce: Making the British World in Australia through Gardening Literature."
This 45 minute presentation will showcase material from the UWA Library Special Collections to show resonances between popular (and well distributed) British gardening design books and the lesser studied early and then late works on Australian garden design.
