MEMORIAL LECTURE: Isabelle Lake Memorial Lecture
Proud? Reflections on where we are, how far we’ve come, and where we should be will be presented by Ro Allen (they/them), Victoria's Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissioner, as a Microsoft Teams online free event on Thursday 19 May at 5.30pm.
Ro will draw on both their personal experiences as a non-binary person, and their long history of LGBTIQ advocacy. It will reflect on the progress that has been made towards equality for trans and gender diverse people, and the work that is still to be done.
The Isabelle Lake Memorial Lecture is a collaboration between UWA and the Equal Opportunity Commission. The lecture is timed to link with the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT)
