The new semester brings new exhibitions to LWAG!
We’re keeping the gallery doors open late on Thursday 5 August – come stop in to enjoy complimentary drinks and nibbles alongside a special tour of the latest exhibitions with UWA Art Collection Curator Sally Quin.
Don’t miss the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look into the new exhibitions and to find out what’s coming up this semester at LWAG.
Now showing to 27 November:
Feeling abstract?
Feeling abstract? explores abstract painting over a forty year period through works in the UWA Art Collection.
The exhibition features works by artists Sydney Ball, George Haynes, Margot Lewers, Erica McGilchrist, Tony Tuckson, and Jenny Watson, among many others.
Feeling abstract? is a unique opportunity to view dynamic, large-scale paintings from the Collection, several of which have been included in major national exhibitions but have not been on public display at Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery for several decades.
