Come and join our first Inclusion and Diversity Seminar of 2021.
Building meaningful connections: Moving beyond multicultural food to multicultural connection will be presented by Dr Cathy Martin, a recent UWA PhD graduate who completed her studies in immigration, race and representation.
Following the presentation, a panel of UWA staff, students and a representative from the WA government’s Office of Multicultural Interests will discuss how we can move towards making deeper connections as a diverse community. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A.
This seminar is part of a series of seminars scheduled to run throughout the year. The seminars are designed to raise awareness and advocacy of UWA’s commitment to inclusion and diversity as well as encourage meaningful dialogue.
The seminar is on Tuesday 23 March 2021 from 1pm to 2pm at the IOMRC Auditorium
Please register to attend as spaces are limited due to social distancing requirements.
