The Black Hole Nobel Prize in Physics 2020 : This lecture will give an overview and outline of the discoveries recently awarded the Nobel Prize. Other events...
David Blair and Susan Scott are both gravitational wave physicists. They are both Fellows of the Australian Academy of Science and Chief Investigators of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery OzGrav, as well as the Einstein-First education project designed to bring Einsteinian physics within the school curriculum. Susan worked closely with Nobel prize recipient Roger Penrose. The work of all of the recent prize winners was central inspiration for gravitational wave physicists.
