SEMINAR: LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Seminar

UWA staff and students are invited to attend the LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Seminar on Tuesday 20 October 2020. In this seminar, Assistant Professor and minority rights expert Mr Melville Thomas will discuss “The Heterosexuality of the Law” where they claim that the bridge between critical legal theory and LGBTIQ legal theory is indeed feminist legal theory. The presentation will be followed by a panel of UWA staff and students who will discuss the difference between gender and sexuality through the lens of their lived experiences. There is also the opportunity for any Q&A’s you may have on the topic.
