Advanced Searching: Medline and Embase Other events...
Researchers conducting systematic reviews in the health and medical sciences require an in-depth understanding of the Medline and Embase databases. This hands-on workshop will ensure you have a strong grasp on the functionality of these databases and how to use them to structure an accurate, comprehensive and unbiased search.

Topics covered will include: The differences between Medline and Embase, structuring a keyword search using field codes and advanced operators, using the subject heading thesaurus features (e.g. MeSH), saving and exporting your searches and results, setting up search alerts and using pre-constructed search filters.
