This is a Foundations module. Often, cultural awareness/sensitivity programs are basic, can unwittingly reinforce stereotypes and tend to 'other' racial minorities. This self-reflective program is designed to deepen cultural competence by challenging participants to think through the ways race/culture affects both their lives and professional practice.
