Articulating the relationship between graduate attributes and employability : An interactive workshop for UWA staff Other events...
This interactive workshop is based on the argument that to separate employability from the academic aims of university programmes is a false dichotomy. Both are vitally concerned with the development of a critically empowered learner. The workshop will encourage participants to consider the existing graduate attributes their courses aim to develop and how these are articulated as programme outcomes and integrated in those programmes. The workshop will also consider important linkages between learning and employability, and especially the links to assessment and the development of the students’ assessment literacy. Ultimately, the workshop is intended to help participants audit their current approaches to employability and provide ideas on how their course design and practice might be improved.
