Training : OpenFOAM Training by ESIgroup

The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre has organised OpenFOAM training which will be delivered by OpenFOAM Ltd.

This training will be particularly relevant for researchers working with Computational Fluid Dynamics and simulating complex fluid flows involving chemical reactions; turbulence and heat transfer; multiphase flow; acoustics; solid mechanics and electromagnetics - to name a few.

These types of computational problems are a common place in climate modelling, modelling of transport phenomena in biomedical engineering, oil & gas exploration simulations, alternative and renewable energy investigations, material science and some general applied mathematics and research involving finite element models.

The training will be held at UWA over five days, from Monday 28th November to Friday 02 December, from 9am - 5pm.
