If you are a long-standing Defined Benefit Division (DBD) member with continuing membership in the DBD since 1 July 1998, you may be eligible for a Defined Benefit Indexed Pension in retirement.
A Defined Benefit Indexed Pension can provide you with a regular income for the rest of your life which is indexed each year to help you meet any increase in living costs.
Included in this seminar is information on:
• overview of the DB Indexed Pension
• eligibility requirements
• taxation of pension payments
• reversionary pensions
• DB Indexed Pensions and Centrelink.
