The Ligeti Project
Ligeti's 'Musica Ricercata' is a cycle of 11 pieces for piano, of which he made arrangements for wind quintet of six of these pieces, known as 'The 6 Bagatelles'. This year, marks the 10th anniversary of Ligeti's death and in recognition of this, UWA Composition Students have arranged the remaining 5 pieces to be performed in this special concert by some of Perth finest pianists (Caroline Badnall, Gaby Gunders and Adrian Soares) and UWA's Ensemble in Residence Ensemble Vagabond.
This unique performance is not to be missed!
Bar open 5pm, performance begins 5.30pm. Free entry - all welcome!
