2016 Chinese Bridge Chinese Speaking Competition for WA High School Students on 28th May 2016 : Hanyu Qiao competition for Western Australian secondary school students will be held on 28th May Saturday, 2016 at Kurrajong Theatre of Confucius Institute. Other events...
The Hanyuqiao (Chinese Bridge) Chinese Proficiency Competition is an annual worldwide Chinese Mandarin speaking and performance competition. This year the Hanyuqiao preliminary competition in Western Australian will take place on 28th May 2016 at Kurrajong Theatre of Confucius Institute, UWA Claremont Campus. The winners of the competition will participate in the Regional Final in Adelaide on 9th -10th June. There are varied prizes for the participants and travel opportunities to China for top-prize winners.

Programme 9.00 am Contestants registration 9.20 am Written Test (20 minutes), followed by rehearsal 10.00 am Competition Begins: Welcome Speeches 10.10 am Speaking Competition and Cultural Performance 11.35 am Judges Deliberation / Tea Break 11.50 am Prize Ceremony 12:15 pm Competition Ends
