The role of patients, carers and the public in medical and health research is changing fast. What are the challenges and opportunities of public involvement and how do we make sure it becomes more than just ticking a box for all concerned?

This lecture is sponsored by the IAS and Meeting for Minds, a charitable organisation dedicated to research of the brain and disorders of the brain in partnership with people living with mental illness.
