You are invited to attend a one-day workshop on Intensive Mode Teaching (IMT). Intensive mode teaching (IMT) is part of the 21st Century student experience. IMT engages students in facilitated learning activities or classes intensively over longer than a few hours in a day, and over fewer days than a traditional course.
Participants will be guided through a step-by-step process on developing intensive mode units using interactive online guidelines on supporting the student experience of capability development in units with IMT. This will include learning to identify threshold capabilities in their units and to support students to develop these.
In the final half hour, participants will review the draft good practice guidelines and be invited to submit comments to contribute to development of the guidelines.
