Shell are coming on campus during March for a series of presentations. For students applying to the Shell graduate or vacation programs, these talks give you first-hand knowledge of what is important to Shell and can enhance your application and interview.
March 15 – Innovation
Innovation with Claus Otto
Claus Otto is the Technology Manager at Shell Australia. He is responsible for identifying and deploying value-adding technologies to Shell’s integrated gas business and assets in Australia and globally. He also manages the R&D portfolio for Shell Australia supporting local and national technology developments at universities and research institutions, as well as sponsoring local SMEs to advance innovative technologies. Claus joined Shell in 2007 and worked 7 years as Program Manager at the Shell Technology Centre in the Netherlands before returning to Perth in his current role. Prior to joining Shell he worked 15 years at CSIRO as a principle research scientist and manager working on dryland salinity, water resources, exploration and Carbon Capture and Storage. He has a MSc in geology and a PhD in hydrogeology.
