#GivingTuesday is a movement to celebrate and provide incentives to give. It will culminate with a global day of giving on the first Tuesday of December every year. The idea is to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season.
What can you do? Can you give a little more? Can you get more comfortable talking about giving? Can you run a fundraiser? Can you donate your christmas? Small things make big difference - 50c can deworm a child (Schistosomiasis Control Initiative), $5 can provide a bed net for a family (Against Malaria Foundation), $25 can treat preventable blindness (the Fred Hollows Foundation), or $500 can provide life saving surgery (Fistula Foundation).
