Dr Tara Richman completed her PhD studies at the University of Western Australia in 2014 and is currently a post-doctoral scientist in Aleksandra Filipovska's laboratory. Due to her time as a research assistant before commencing her PhD studies in 2010, Tara has experience in several diverse areas, including mitochondrial research, childhood health and immunology and biotechnology. She is passionate about the study of mitochondrial disease and her current research involves further understanding of the regulation on mitochondrial gene expression in health and disease.
