New music deserves a place that is not on the margins, but at the epicentre of how we define, consume, perform and teach classical music.
In this special concert, forming part of UWA Research Week we will be focussing on fluxus composition and concept music. We will examine the definition of what music actually is. The concert will explore the edge between noise and music, and activity and performance. The audience will be invited to walk from room to room experiencing back-to-back performances taking place over the course of an hour.
