TALK: To be, or not to be, forever?
Assistant Professor Danijela Kambaskovic is Research Associate with the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions (ARC CHE), where she is currently working on a book project concerned with cultural history of love and literary genres (The New Life: Love Written in the First Person and the European Renaissance).
She states: "Remembering the transience of life was (and is) a practice with a fundamentally uplifting purpose. Its messages are simple: right your wrongs. Love deeply. Be good at what you do. Die and be remembered."
