The Perth Undergraduate Choral Society presents “Reveille!”, a concert of music inspired by war and conflict. Music from the war eras takes on many guises, from rousing nationalistic propaganda to works meditating on the devastation of human cruelty, with each composer bringing their own personal experiences and moral judgements to the art form. PUCS will be exploring a wide variety of this choral music from a spectrum of nations.
With an all-star line up of composers, including Vaughn-Williams, Mendelssohn, Tippett and many more, plus the musical commitment of our talented choir, this promises to be a truly reflective and moving concert.
