An 'On the Edge' Lecture by Benjamin W. Smith, Winthrop Professor of World Rock Art at UWA

In this lecture Professor Smith will draw upon experiences from his past four years as President of the PanAfrican Archaeological Association to consider the illicit practices, the scale and the complexity of the looting of African cultural property from archaeological sites, monuments and museums. Examples will be drawn from all parts of Africa.
