Emily Todd completed a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Forensics at Murdoch University in Western Australia. She is currently completing her PhD in the Neurogenetics Laboratory at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, under the supervision of Nigel Laing, Gina Ravenscroft, Rachael Duff, and Kristen Nowak. Emily’s research has focused on investigating the genetic causes of the foetal akinesias and motor neuron disease by using traditional and next generation sequencing techniques.
