Kyle completed a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma in Science at The University of Western Australia. He is currently completing his PhD in the Neurogenetics Laboratory at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, under the supervision of Nigel Laing, Kristen Nowak, Mark Davis and Phillipa Lamont. His research focuses upon the application of classical and next generation sequencing techniques to disease gene discovery, and the application of next generation sequencing to the diagnostics of neurogenetic disorders.
