EMAS DJ Lessons and Mentoring Other events...
Are you a music lover? Wish you knew how to mix tracks? Keen to start getting gigs or just have a ball entertaining friends or maybe even to play in clubs?

DJing can be an incredibly fun and rewarding pastime, trust us we do a lot of it here at EMAS! To share the love for something we're passionate about we present to you our first ever joint DJ lessons and mentoring program!!!!....combining lecture style lessons and small group tutorial style hands-on-decks workshops....and all totally FREE for 2014 EMAS members!

Budding DJs will be able to attend weekly classes each week for the rest of the semester, followed by a hands on workshop with allocated mentors in small groups. All skill levels will be catered for from '100% fresh' to 'been gigging for a while'. Participants will be split into small groups according to skill levels to make sure everyone is presented material at a level they are comfortable with.

EVERYONE is welcome, we're a pretty diverse and welcoming bunch! Mentors will be girls, boys, 18-24, Perth based and international students!

Mentors are experienced DJs from venues and events around Perth/Australia and are all patient, easy to get along with.

The program kicks of with the open signup session, 1pm on Tuesday 28th April on Oak Lawn at 1:00PM, followed by classes each week for the rest of semester.
