Director of Perth Symphony Orchestra and proprietor of North Street Music; Bourby has a degree in Music from Oxford University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Performance on viola from the Royal College of Music in London, and, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Western Australia. Her career spans 20 years of commercial and music experience in the corporate and cultural sectors in the UK and Australia. She has worked in senior Marketing, Sponsorship and Business Development roles at BBC Television (Classical Music); the Perth International Arts Festival; the WA Institute of Sport; and in global professional services firms...

Bourby will be taking us through a 2 hour course on Music Industry survival. Whether you know exactly where you are going in your career, or if you are stuck for ideas, this evening will enlighten, inspire and motivate you.
This seminar will be somewhat of a continuation from 2013 but will also recap on some important details, accommodating for new-comers and those who attend in the previous year.
