WORKSHOP: Introduction to LMS: LMS for new users
LMS for New Users will provide participants with an introductory overview of the Moodle powered LMS (Learning Management System) used as our online learning environment here at UWA. You will need to complete this workshop before being eligible to take part in any intermediate or advanced LMS training.
LMS is an online learning environment that provides a variety of tools, features and interactions that can support your teaching (and students' learning) experiences at UWA. It provides a flexible online environment for you to teach and you may choose to include blocks, content and interactions that work for you, your unit and your students. As an official UWA system, staff and students are automatically provisioned into the LMS, and students automatically enrolled in units, and listed in the LMS Unit Grades area. The LMS also provides students with access to the captured lectures (via an LCS block), course materials (CMO block) and some other teaching and learning resources.
