UWA alumnus, diplomat and renowned folk singer, Fred Smith, who performed in the Sunken Garden at LUMINOUSnight in February this year, is returning to WA in early December for two performances in Perth and one in Albany.
UWA Staff and alumni are being offered a ten per cent discount on the ticket price to all shows.
Following his recent appearance on Australian Story, Fred has now acquired the nickname 'The Singing Diplomat'. He will be performing with singer/bassist Liz Frencham, drummer Reuben Kooperman and keys player Paul Gioia, two of his classic albums, Bagarup Empires and Into my Room.
The shows will be presented in concert format at the Camelot Theatre in Mosman Park on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 December at 8pm, and in the Albany Town Hall on Thursday December 5th at 8pm.
