WORKSHOP: Subspaces

In Linear Algebra, the concept and algebraic definition of a subspace can be difficult to visualise the first time you see them. In this workshop we match this algebraic definition to simple geometric properties based on vectors to build the foundations of an intuitive understanding of subspaces in general. We will discuss simple proofs and counter examples for test style questions and introduce the concept of Nullspace. Recommended for first year and higher level MATH students wishing to revise this topic.
