SYMPOSIUM: Translational Research Symposium on Skeletal Health

Skeletal Health is one of the key initiatives in health care. More than 30% of patients admitted to hospital are for skeletal health related issues including osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, trauma and other degenerative diseases.
This one day symposium brings together a wide range of professionals in the field of Skeletal Health with the aim of encouraging collaboration and the sharing of new ideas in Western Australia.
Topics of discussion will be 'A Solution Looking for a Problem'; 'A Problem Looking for a Solution'; 'Not Only a Mechanism'; and 'Working Together'.
A Highlight of the program will be master lectures from Raine Visiting Professors from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver - Professor Heather McKay 'Moving Research Findings into Action: the Science of Implementation' and Professor Karim Khan 'Do You Want Your Teams to Work Together Better? Team Science Can Help Research and Clinical Teams'.
This symposium is open to students, young career researchers, medical professionals and allied health professionals.
