The Award recognises and celebrates the strong commitment to teaching and learning of our former Vice Chancellor, Alan Robson.
The award acknowledges Professor Robson’s own rural school experiences and honours the rural teaching career of his father.
The Faculty of Education offers $1000 each year to one student participating in a rural teaching practicum. This is to be spent on expenses incurred in undertaking the practicum.
The successful applicant, who must show that they would not be able to consider a rural practicum without the scholarship, will gain long term benefit from a rural teaching practicum.
