The Office of Industry & Innovation will be hosting its next “Intellectual Property for UWA Researchers Seminar" on Friday 24 May from 0930 to 1230 (light lunch provided) at Love House, Seminar Room 1 (28 Broadway, corner Cooper Street).

All UWA researchers (staff and postgraduate students) welcome but registration is essential.

Come along and learn more about IP and what it can do for you

- types of IP, why and how to protect it

- managing IP to protect future research opportunities

- accessing funding from various sources including Pathfinder, industry contracts, Enterprise Connect and Commercialisation Australia

- agreements (CDA’s, MTA’s & external research contracts), why they are important and how OII can help

- translating your research through effective knowledge and technology transfer

…and then network over a light lunch.
