EVENT: Exhibition Focus Day

Bring the family along to this exciting behind-the-scenes look at rarely exhibited objects from the Berndt Museum's extensive collection.

The material dates from the 1950s and will include ceremonial adornment as seen in the exhibition Through the Kunai Grass: Portraits of the New Guinea Highlands 1951-53.

The Berndt Museum’s Curatorial Director, Dr John Stanton, will give a short talk on the exhibition and curatorial staff will take you on a show-and-tell journey through the collection, followed by a mask-making activity session.

Afternoon tea and activity materials will be provided.
