Stress management : This workshop is intended for any staff wanting to reduce the stress in their lives. Chronic stress can have long-term impacts on our health and well-being. Psychologists from the UWA counselling service offer their expertise to UWA staff wishing to enhance their stress management techniques. |

This workshop involves a look at the causes of stress, the effects of on-going stress and stress management techniques which are particularly useful to reduce stress. Emphasis is placed on learning healthier ways to manage and cope with stress. Learn to recognise the barriers to implementing relaxation strategies and enlist your strengths to approach stress with a renewed vigour.
Part Two of Stress Management will be on the 12 June 2013 from 11.30am - 12.30pm.
