Laplace transforms and the Heaviside function Other events...
Discusses how Laplace transforms can be used to solve differential equations. We will justify the definition of a Laplace transform and discuss a few examples before applying it to a differential equation. We will also use the Heaviside function to convert composite functions into a single function which can then be Laplace transformed. (Note: it will be useful to have a good understanding of integration by partial fractions.)
