Olympics make you feel like a slob?
Wanna have a crack at one of those athletics events you saw but don’t know how to go about it?
UWA Athletics Club is having a “Suck it and See” afternoon at McGillivray Oval on Friday 5 October 2012 from 3:00pm.
Ever wondered how far you can throw a javelin, shot or discus, or if you can high jump your own height (or maybe only long jump it)? There will be qualified coaches & athletes there to give you some tips and there will be a sausage sizzle and a few drinks after at the AJ Pavillion from 5:00pm.
Why not come down and check it out. Who knows, you might discover a hidden talent.
