PERFORMANCE: WA Medical Student's Orchestra Inaugural Concert
|
|
WAMSO (the WA Medical Students Orchestra) was founded at the beginning of 2012 to provide medical students from WA's tertiary institutions with an opportunity to wipe the dust off their instruments and to once again play in an orchestra, which is something many of us haven't done since high school. This is WAMSO's debut concert - an opportunity for us to share with you what we've been working on over the past couple of months, but also an opportunity to raise some money for Telethon (www.telethon7perth.com.au).
The concert will feature highlights from the Harry Potter soundtrack, excerpts from Carnival of the Animals, Strauss' Emperor Waltz and more, and will be conducted by Daniel Dorevitch and Lucien Fischer.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for concession/students and are available at the door. Light refreshments will be provided after the concert.
We hope to see you there!
