All postgraduate students from The University of Western Australia are invited to present their education-related research at the next Fogarty Foundation Postgraduate Forum to be held on the afternoon of Tuesday 20 November 2012 at the Graduate School of Education.
Each presentation session will consist of 20 minutes speaking time and 5 minutes for discussion and questions.
If you would like to present at the Forum, email the following information to Eileen Slater no later than Friday 7 September 2012:
- Name
- Contact phone number
- Email address
- Name/s of Supervisor/s
- General area of research
- Title of presentation (maximum 15 words.
- Keywords – Three keywords to help classify your presentation. These should reflect your topic area, methodology, or other key qualities that will attract colleagues interested in your research area to your presentation.
- Abstract - One paragraph no longer than 200 words that overviews the following:
*Aim of the research
*Importance of your field of enquiry
*Methodology
*Progress to date, including results and discussion if available.
Please note that your email must include all the required information listed above, otherwise your presentation cannot be considered.
Once accepted, presentation titles and keywords will be posted on the Postgraduate Research Forum webpage (http://www.education.uwa.edu.au/research/forum). A full list of abstracts will not be posted online, but will be emailed to registered participants.
