Nigel Helyer will discuss six recent projects, that focus upon the role of memory and site in establishing identity such as GhosTrain and three, including Vox on the Rox, that develop the concept of 'audio portraits' and sonic cartography into the arena of art and science.
Nigel Helyer (a.k.a. Dr Sonique) is a Sculptor and Sound Artist with an international reputation for his large scale sonic installations, environmental sculpture works and new media projects. His practice is actively inter-disciplinary linking creative practice with scientific Research and Development.
