Three years ago at the start of the Global Financial Crisis the UWA Politics Club held a similar debate to see which was better. With Europe and America still in crisis is capitalism starting to fail us OR is Socialism the way to go? Hopefully this and many other of your questions will be answered as we debate the topic of "Has Capitalism Failed Us?" We are lucky enough to have three students traveling over from Sydney University representing the newly formed Peace, Prosperity and Freedom club who intend to show why Capitalism is a success and here to stay. Taking them on are three resident UWA Socialists who intend to show you why economic democracy is the way to go.
