O-Day Festival Concert : feat. The Aston Shuffle, Stonefield, Purple Sneaker DJs and Runner Other events...
The O-Day Festival Concert is the perfect way to close out a busy day of orientating yourself on campus, and the 2012 lineup has just the bands you need to end your day in style.

First off, headling the whole shebang; they host the weekly 'Friday Night Shuffle' on Triple J, they're the reigning No. 1 DJs after triumphing in Australia's biggest DJ poll; the inthemix50, and they've released their debut long-player 'Seventeen Past Midnight' to critical acclaim, they are of course The Aston Shuffle!

Next up, hailing from rural Victoria, are 2010 Unearthed High winners Stonefield. Brought up on the classics, from Hendrix to Zeppelin, the four Findlay sisters will be bringing a dose of rock to the 2012 O-Day Festival Concert!

Bringing their eclectic mix of hyperactive indie pop, heart stopping dubstep and electro fistpumpers, the Purple Sneaker DJs are the mixing geniuses behind the 'We Mix You Dance' compilations, and that title tells you everything you'll need to know for their set at the O-Day Festival Concert; they mix, you dance.

Rounding out the bill for 2012 are UWA's own Runner. Fresh from taking the top gong at the 2011 National Campus Band Comp, they'll be bringing their brand of Fleet Foxes meets Sigur Ros esque indie pop to get O-Day Festival Concert off to the perfect start.

That's not all though! EMAS will be keeping the party going between acts, with some cunningly mixed changeover sets of their own.
