Person Perception and Human Mate Choice study. : Heterosexual, Caucasian males are invited to participate in a paid experiment Other events...
I am recruiting heterosexual, Caucasian males aged between 18-35 years to participate in a research project on person perception. Our broad aim is to understand the consistency and accuracy of impressions that we make of other people based on their appearance. You will be asked to view some people on a computer screen and make some judgements about them. The session will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Your responses will be recorded by the computer and the results may be published in scholarly journals. You will be remunerated $5 for your time.

This project is being carried out under the direction of Professor Gillian Rhodes, from the UWA School of Psychology. The results from this, and other studies we are conducting, will assist in answering fundamental questions about person perception and how it affects our relationships with others. If you would like to take part in this study, please contact Samantha Leivers on the details provided.
