The ICOC is a biennial, multi-disciplinary conference which provides a forum for the presentation of new and innovative work on Indonesia. There is particular emphasis on encouraging engagement between newer Indonesianists and established scholars. It attracts participants from all over Indonesia and Australia, and from other parts of the world. This will be the sixth ICOC and is the first time the Conference has been held in Perth.
There will be a Workshop on the 26th September for Honours and Postgraduate students, and the Conference proper will begin on the 27th.
