Dr Okuda is from Faculty of Science and Engineering, Chuo University, Japan and his research focuses around PPR proteins and plant organelle gene expression.
RNA editing converts genetic information encoded in the genome at the RNA level and is thus a biological phenomenon that challenges the central dogma of molecular biology.
