Climate Change and Sustainability: The Realities for Business in the 21st Century : Does a changing climate creates risks for business operations? Other events...
Climate change is fast becoming a business reality in many parts of the world, whether because of legislated carbon emission reduction plans (including carbon pricing), or because a changing climate creates risks for business operations. By examining the environmental, social and economic implications of decisions, across the full asset life cycle, and explicitly examining inherent trade-offs and alternatives, businesses can identify optimal strategies, designs and policies which will not only improve long term financial performance, but will help society move to a more sustainable footing.
