The Arab's Third Awakening and Osama's Passing : Osama bin Laden’s death has followed the change in the Arab World and demands for greater democratization. What do these two devel- opments mean for the Muslim world? How will they affect global stability? What does it mean for Australia? Professor Amin Saikal, Director of the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies at the Australian National University will be giving a public lecture on Thursday May 12th,2011 at The University of Western Australia. He will discuss issues surrounding The Arab's third awakening and Osama's passing and what it means for the Muslim World as well as Australia.
