Cyprus: A Fifty Year Old Republic at Risk? Other events...
This talk by Dr Van Coufoudakis, Rector Emeritus, University of Nicosia, Cyprus, will focus on the achievements and challenges facing the Republic of Cyprus after fifty years of independence.

The current state of the “Cyprus problem” will be examined in the context of the UN sponsored talks led by Australia’s Alexander Downer (the Secretary General’s Special Envoy), recent developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East.
