It might be easy to imagine but what of the consequences? No assessment? How will the students know what to learn?
At least there would be no need to be concerned with instilling academic integrity in students because there would be no motivation to cheat. And all this talk of soft marking would be a thing of the past - there would be no marking - so much more time for research - oh joy!
I hope someday you'll join us - specifically on June 2 at 12noon in the Sunken Garden to hear the panel of visionaries from UWA and beyond ponder this and other utopian possibilities.
Guest panellists include Dr Carmen Lawrence, Guild President Tom Antoniazzi and many more to come.
Established now as a favourite event in the UWA Teaching and Learning Month calendar, the Hypothetical returns in 2011.
Come for lunch (picnic lunch will be available to those who registered) and stay for the fun!
